Is it because it's easy to understand, easy to grasp, easy to live with?
Or is it something else...
Even though thirds and fourths maybe be harder to understand and overall more complex,
Isn't complexity the very thing we live for?
Or do we live for the short thrill, the constant knock knock knock at the door,
The continuing falling and getting back up again, will you ever get bored?
Is it just so symbolic to group halves in this way of life?
Is it just so calming, so preserving?

How long will this "eternal" meaning of life last?
Maybe not for very long...... not for very long at all
But I will hold on to the things that I hold dear until the only thing they do is hurt me
Then I will let them go and develop new meanings to life... when will this cycle stop?
When will I no longer have a reason to continue my life?
